Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RADAR ("the Service" or "the App"), operated by The Stock Syndicate ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including the iOS app and the web application at radarhq.xyz.

2. Description of Service

RADAR is an educational and informational platform that provides:

• Portfolio tracking and performance analytics
• Market data visualization (stock quotes, charts, company profiles, news)
• Social features (posts, comments, following other investors)
• Trending stock discovery and market intelligence tools
• Options terminal data and analytics

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

You must be at least 13 years old to use RADAR. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Deletion

You may delete your RADAR account at any time directly within the app:

• Open the RADAR app and go to Settings
• Scroll to Danger Zone
• Tap Delete Account and confirm

Upon account deletion, all of your data — including portfolio holdings, posts, comments, follows, and profile information — will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers. Account deletion does not automatically cancel any active App Store subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your Apple ID settings (iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → RADAR).

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

5.1 RADAR Pro Subscription

RADAR offers a paid subscription ("RADAR Pro") that unlocks premium features including options flow analysis, Market Tide, IV and volume analysis, AI-powered stock and portfolio analysis, correlation heatmap, benchmark comparison, unlimited portfolio positions, and private group creation. Subscription details, pricing, and available plans are displayed within the app before purchase.

5.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

All in-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Apple to charge your Apple ID account at the price displayed. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → RADAR.

5.3 Free Trial

When offered, a free trial period may be available at the time of subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon subscribing to a paid plan. Trial availability may vary based on your Apple ID history with RADAR.

5.4 Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you can restore your previous subscription by tapping Restore Purchases in Settings. Restoring requires the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.

5.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's official refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. RADAR does not issue refunds directly.

5.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal period. Apple will notify you of price changes before they apply, and you will have the opportunity to cancel if you do not accept the new price.

6. Referral Program

RADAR offers an optional referral program that allows users to invite others to join the app. By participating in the referral program, you agree to the following:

• Referral Codes: Each user receives a unique referral code accessible in Settings → Invite Friends. You may share this code or link freely.
• Rewards: For each friend who joins RADAR and redeems your referral code, you earn 5 additional portfolio position slots (up to a maximum of 50 bonus slots, equivalent to 10 qualifying referrals). Rewards are applied to your account automatically.
• Eligibility: A qualifying referral is a new user who (a) creates a RADAR account for the first time, (b) redeems your referral code within the app, and (c) has not previously held a RADAR account. Self-referral is not permitted.
• One Redemption Per User: Each new user may redeem only one referral code. Attempting to circumvent this limit (e.g., by creating multiple accounts) violates these Terms and may result in account suspension.
• No Cash Value: Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for currency or credits.
• Program Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time. Earned bonus slots will be honored for existing accounts.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post (posts, comments, profile information). By posting content, you grant RADAR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce your content within the Service. You may delete your content at any time.

You agree not to post content that:

• Constitutes financial advice or recommendations to buy/sell specific securities
• Is intended to manipulate stock prices or markets (e.g., pump-and-dump schemes)
• Contains spam, malware, phishing attempts, or deceptive links
• Harasses, threatens, or discriminates against individuals or groups
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains personally identifiable information of others without consent
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for market manipulation or securities fraud
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without authorization
• Impersonate other users or create misleading accounts
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent referral limits, tier restrictions, or suspensions
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools to create accounts, post content, or access the Service
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

9. Portfolio Data

Portfolio holdings you enter are stored securely and are private by default. You control the visibility of your portfolio through privacy settings (Settings → Privacy). RADAR does not verify the accuracy of self-reported holdings. Creator portfolios shared publicly are for educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as investment recommendations.

Free tier accounts are limited to 10 portfolio positions by default. You can earn up to 50 additional positions through the referral program (5 per qualifying referral). RADAR Pro subscribers have unlimited portfolio positions.

10. Market Data

Market data displayed on RADAR is sourced from third-party providers (including Alpaca, Finnhub, and Alpha Vantage) and may be delayed, estimated, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data. Options data may be subject to a 15-minute delay (OPRA). Always verify information with official sources before making any investment decisions.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, including data shared with third-party services.

12. Intellectual Property

The RADAR name, logo, design, and proprietary features are owned by The Stock Syndicate. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RADAR AND THE STOCK SYNDICATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 USD OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RADAR, The Stock Syndicate, and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) content you post; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

16. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your own account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Sections 7, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 17 of these Terms survive termination.

17. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. You agree to resolve any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service through binding individual arbitration rather than class action litigation, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state, or local agencies.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the new Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
